My favorite subject.


I think that in the course of time we can lose the enthusiasm we had when we entered the university, that enthusiasm that feels the first few days and that make us believe that something new and prosperous began, then you realize that it is so and that things are not what they seem.
For that reason and some more details today in the university I don't have any favorite subject.

On the contrary, when I was in school I had two classes that fascinated me, one was chemistry and the other was philosophy, even at one point I wanted to study something related to social sciences and literature, in classes we used to write about controversial topics such as abortion and euthanasia.

Writing was something we did at least once a week, that made me want at some point in my life to write a book, I really want to be able to create a dystopian story, work on it day by day, or maybe one day wake up and that idea comes to my mind.

Finally I'm studying something related to chemistry, which was a class I loved at school and now I don't like it that much. I only hope that at some point the flame of the passion for the Food Engineering ignites in me, but now I see it very far away.

Chemistry has something special, chemistry is everywhere.

Reading and writing helped me to think and learn about the things that happen around me.

What i wanted to be...

When i was younger i wanted to be a psychologist, teacher and vet, i wanted to be all of them together  if i could , my dad doesn ' t like that idea but he never told me what he wanted me to be, that was what made me feel more free to choose what i really wanted to study, but i knew that deep on his heart he wanted me to be some like i lawyer or a doctor. Two years before my high school studies ends i realized that chemistry all this time could be an opcion that i didn't see, some months later i knew that Food Engineering would be what i wanted to study, because i  want to make a change someday, it doesn't matter if it's a small change, and it couldn't be better about something that affects us every day, Food!. Literature.

I '  m not very related to some expressions of art as painting, theater or photography, but I ' m close to literature. When I was younger I used to read books because that was what my classmates and I had to do, but it wasn '  t  something that I liked, on the contrary it was very overwhelming and this doesn ' t mean that books were bad, I mean sometimes you can read a magnificent book that is the favorite of someone in the world but you will not feel that way, because maybe the book is not for you or because it was not the righ moment  to feel every word that the author wants to transmit you. I learned this because with all these books I felt absolutely nothing except one, "Autopista del sur" by Julio Cortazar, this book made the  little me know that not everything was boring in literature. Something about me.

Hi, my name is Dayana Apaza, i´m 19 years old, i was born in october 18th, 1997 in a small town near to a north city called Trujillo, Peru, i lived there with my parents Gloria and Omar and my northern  family untill i  was 10 years old, in that moment they decided for economic problems leave our country behind to moved to a new place, to a new country. That´s how i arrived to this city Santiago of Chile, here i knew new people and friends and a new life started.
