Photos to share: Repression in Venezuela
These photos were taken by
two photographers Juan Barreto and Fernando Llano in an anti-government protests on May 3
of this year in Venezuela.
This country has been protesting against the Nicolas Maduro government for more than two months with more than 50 dead, many of them from impacts of tear gas in every city in the country.

The photographs show a young man burned as a result of the explosion
of a police motorcycle tank, he didn't receive any help from the "Bolivarian
National Guard", but he was helped by civilians and rescuers around him.
Also we can see the serious burns that the protestant suffered and days later the government publicly reported that the young man received medical help and that he is "stable."

I don't like what the photos show for obvious reasons, but I'm glad that this is a
medium that shows what is happening in our neighboring country.
I know that by distance we can't do something concrete for a change, but at least we must be aware
of what is happening, and know that at this moment someone in Venezuela is
being repressed, someone is dying because there are no medicines and that someone
is fighting in a queue for food.
